Hey babes! It’s been a while since I’ve last blogged. It always seems like I can’t get to it and then once I get writing, I love it! I went to New York City this weekend with one of my “boutique besties”, Collette (I own Vogue Society and she owns CoCo Grand). We went for the Create & Cultivate conference and made a weekend exploring the city out of it. I’m hoping to make a vlog talking about the experience at the conference soon! We had an absolute blast and I loved every outfit I brought along with me because it was comfortable, cute and it felt like MY style.
If I were to give one fashion tip when packing for a trip or deciding what to wear to an event, it would be to dress in what YOU feel COMFORTABLE in. Now I don’t mean just wear sweats (lol), I mean dress in something that you will feel represents your style and doesn’t go out of your comfort zone too much just to fit in. When I was trying to figure out what to wear to Create & Cultivate, at first, I was trying to come up with an outfit that would be super “trendy” and something that was like BOOM. However, I realized that it didn’t represent my low-key, cute style. I decided on wearing a rust jumpsuit that I knew fit me good, was comfortable and it totally represented my style. I was so happy I wore that because I loved all the photos and felt comfy all day (physically and mentally)!
I decided to go with that motto for the whole trip and planned my outfits accordingly. Here is the final product of what I wore around the Big Apple! I will leave links to it all under the photos!
DAY 1: TRAVELING FROM TAMPA TO JFK! ✈️ & COCKTAIL HOUR 🥂
I wanted to be comfortable yet stylish so that when we got to the city I didn’t have to immediately change, this outfit was perfect! Later on, we had a Create and Cultivate cocktail hour that I changed into one of my favorite and most affordable jumpsuits paired with a leopard jacket! It was perfect!

DAY 3: EXPLORING THE CITY! 🗽
I knew I’d be walking around a lot, so I knew I had to incorporate some sneaks into the outfit. I also knew it would be a cold and rainy spring day so I went with a tank and cardigan. I wore that for half the day til I did some shopping and spontaneously purchased a $150 vintage camo jacket that I NEEDED to change into immediately. So, I had 2 looks this day!

I GOT SO MANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS JACKET, IT IS A VINTAGE ARMY JACKET WITH AN ADDED EMBROIDERED DETAIL ON THE BACK! HERE IS THE LINK TO THE WEBSITE. HOWEVER, EACH PIECE IS ONE OF A KIND! 🌟 SOJARA.COM
DAY 4: New York BAGEL DATE & TRAVELING BACK TO FLORIDA 🍩
Not going to lie, I totally wore a trendy outfit to breakfast for the Instagram. But hey, how cute is this outfit? I cannot wait to wear it again! I then changed before my flight back home into something more comfortable! Two looks for Day 4 again!
